Privacy Policy

MellowMise collects and uses data only to deliver recipe transformation, account sync, billing, safety, and support features across our mobile app, Chrome extension, and website.

1. Data We Collect

Account Data: email address, Firebase user ID, and authentication records needed to sign you in and keep your account secure.
Profile and Safety Data: dietary constraints, allergies, preferences, pantry items, family profiles, macro targets, and consent records.
User Content: recipe text, saved recipes, shared recipes, exported recipe content, and recipe source URLs that you choose to submit.
Purchase and Entitlement Data: subscription status, product identifiers, receipts, and entitlement events required to unlock or restore paid features.
Diagnostics: crash and performance information when crash reporting is enabled in a production build.

2. How We Use Data

Core functionality: to authenticate you, save your station profile, transform recipes, store your recipe box, support pantry matching, and provide exports.
Product personalization: to tailor recipe transformations to your allergies, diets, preferences, macro targets, servings, and family profiles.
Billing and fraud prevention: to activate Pro access, restore purchases, process web orders, and investigate abuse or security issues.
Reliability: to monitor crashes and performance so we can fix defects and improve the service.

MellowMise does not sell personal data and does not use recipe or account data for personalized advertising.

3. Who We Share Data With

Google Firebase: authentication, database, cloud functions, and hosting services.
Google Gemini: recipe transformation and structured culinary output generation.
RevenueCat: subscription management and entitlement sync for mobile purchases.
Apple App Store and Google Play: mobile billing, subscriptions, renewals, and refunds for store purchases.
Paddle: billing and order processing for web purchases.
Sentry: crash and performance diagnostics when enabled in production.

4. Chrome Extension Limited Use Statement

If you use the Chrome extension, recipe page content is accessed only when you ask the extension to analyze the current page or a recipe URL. That data is used only to provide or improve the extension's single purpose: recipe transformation, syncing, export, and related kitchen features.

We do not use or transfer recipe page content for personalized ads.
We do not sell browsing-derived recipe content.
Human review of user data is prohibited except with your explicit support request, for security investigation, to comply with law, or in aggregated or anonymized operational reporting.

5. Retention and Deletion

You can delete your account and associated profile, pantry, and recipe data from the mobile app by using the Incinerate Station action in Settings. You can also review the external deletion instructions on our Delete Account page or email legal@forgednfoundry.com for assistance.

We may retain limited transaction, security, or legal-compliance records when required by law, tax rules, or fraud-prevention obligations.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards for authentication, transport, and storage. Payment card data is handled by our payment partners and store providers rather than stored directly by MellowMise.
